Definition of diagonal rule:
The Diagonal Method is a method of composition that was accidentally discovered in May 2006 by the Dutch photographer and teacher of photography Edwin Westhoff, while doing research in relation to the theory of composition called the Rule of Thirds.
First photograph is good - remaining appear slightly over exposed. However, they clearly demonstrate the impact of the diagonal.
